PediaPulse is a pediatric health literacy platform operated by ProParenting Pulse LLC and founded by Ebenezer Adebiyi, MD, MPH, FAAP. Our website is located at https://www.pediapulseapp.com. You can contact us at hello@pediapulseapp.com.
PediaPulse is an independent, visual educational initiative. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of the views or clinical practices of any hospital network or medical institution.
What This Policy Covers
This policy applies to all PediaPulse products and services operated by ProParenting Pulse LLC, including:
- The PediaPulse website (pediapulseapp.com) and all educational content pages
- Free downloadable guides and resources
- The PediaPulse mobile app (iOS and Android)
- Email communications from ProParenting Pulse LLC
What Information We Collect
1. Website visitors
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Referring website or search query
- General geographic location based on IP address
This information is collected through analytics tools to help us understand how parents use PediaPulse and improve the platform. This data is anonymized and aggregate — we do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information from website visitors unless you contact us directly or sign up for one of our products.
2. Free guides and resources
When you request a free guide or resource from PediaPulse, we collect your first name and email address. The signup page for free resources is hosted by Systeme.io at pediapulse.app. By submitting your information on that page, you are also subject to Systeme.io's privacy policy. We use this information to deliver your requested resource and send you related PediaPulse educational content and updates. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
3. PediaPulse mobile app
Data stored only on your device (never transmitted):
The following information is entered by you and saved locally on your device. It never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers:
- Child profile (name, date of birth, sex)
- Feeding method and food introduction history
- Known allergens and food reaction logs
- Fever readings and symptom observations
- Sleep logs and diaper tracking
- Medication observation logs
- Growth data (weight, height)
- Development milestone logs
- Well-child visit records
- Vaccine tracking records
Deleting the app permanently removes all locally stored data from your device.
Data transmitted off your device:
The only data that leaves your device is your first name and email address, collected during the optional early access registration step. This is submitted to Systeme.io solely to send you PediaPulse updates and educational content. You may unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell, share, or transmit your name or email address to any other third party.
Health Data
PediaPulse is an educational observation tool, not a medical records system. All health-related entries in the mobile app are stored exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to ProParenting Pulse LLC, our servers, or any third party.
PediaPulse is not a HIPAA-covered entity and does not establish a physician-patient relationship.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver requested free guides and resources
- Send educational content and PediaPulse updates to subscribers
- Understand how parents navigate and use our platform
- Improve the quality and relevance of our content
- Monitor platform performance and fix technical issues
We do not sell your information to any third party.
Cookies
Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand site usage. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies. If you disable cookies, some features of the platform may not function correctly. The PediaPulse mobile app does not use cookies.
Third-Party Services
PediaPulse uses the following third-party services:
- Systeme.io — email delivery for guides, updates, and early access registration. Privacy policy
- Cloudflare — website infrastructure, security, and performance. Privacy policy
No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are used in the PediaPulse mobile app.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
PediaPulse is designed for use by parents and caregivers of young children. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Child profile data entered into the mobile app is stored locally on the parent's or caregiver's device and is never transmitted to our servers. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information through our website or email forms, contact us at hello@pediapulseapp.com and we will delete it promptly.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information collected through PediaPulse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. All health-related data in the mobile app is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted, providing an additional layer of privacy protection.
Your Rights
- Website: Our website collects only anonymized, aggregate analytics data. No personally identifiable information is collected from website visitors, so there is no individual data to request or delete.
- Email list: Unsubscribe via any email or contact hello@pediapulseapp.com to be removed from our mailing list.
- Mobile app data: Delete the app to permanently remove all locally stored data. Use Visit Summary in the Logs tab to export your child's health observations as text before deleting.
- General requests: Contact hello@pediapulseapp.com for any privacy-related request.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For the mobile app, continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
